Cowichan Valley Events
Easter Eggspress
When: Saturday, March 30, Sunday, March 31 and Monday, April 1, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Where: BC Forest Discover Centre – 2892 Drinkwater Road, Duncan
The BC Forest Discovery Centre expanded its Easter Eggspress to 3 days a couple of years ago for the annual Easter Scavenger Hunt. It's perfect for families visiting the Cowichan Region.
There are unlimited train rides, goodie bags for those on the scavenger hunt, and a great educational experience for those attending the celebrations. The concession will also be open.
An admission rate of $8 for children 3 – 12 years (2 and under are FREE) and $12 for adults/seniors/youth.
Easter Egg Hunt at Fuller Lake Park
When: Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
Where: Fuller Lake Park (off of Poplar Road in Chemainus)
Bring the family down to Fuller Lake Park on the Easter weekend for a good old-fashioned Easter egg hunt. Eggs will be hidden all over the park, and at 11:00 am, the kids will rush to find the chocolate. There will be a separate area for children 5 and under to search for eggs.
Hunters also have the opportunity to find special eggs to redeem a prize. After the hunt, stick around for face painting, lawn games, and a photo wall, and say hello to Mr. Cotton Tail.
Honeymoon Bay Spring & Easter Craft Fair
When: Saturday, March 23, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Where: Honeymoon Bay Community Hall (10022 Honeymoon Bay)
Come and enjoy amazing hand-crafted items, fresh baked goods, one-of-a-kind jewelry creations, crochet treasures, and so much more! There will be a concession with hot dogs, coffee, tea, desserts and soups.
Nanaimo Easter Events
Egg Hunt at Superior Farms
When: Friday, March 20th, Saturday, March 30th, and Sunday, March 31st, starting at 10:00 am.
Where: Superior Farms – 7995 Superior Rd, Lantzville
Superior Farms offers three Easter Egg Hunts this year. Kids will find a maximum of ten plastic eggs. Once found, the eggs are taken to a staff member in exchange for a special goodie bag. Bring a basket for the hunt and a camera to take your picture with the giant Easter Bunny.
Rendezvous Crepe will be on site on Good Friday and Easter Sunday, and Sip & Sliders will share yummy delights on Saturday.
Admission is $10 per child (all ages), $9 per adult, and $7 for seniors. It includes access to the petting farm, where all the minis reside.
For an additional cost, you can access the Event Barn, where there are games, a tasty treat, an age-appropriate craft, bunny rabbit snuggles, and more.

Spring into Easter at Woodgrove
When: March 22 – 31
Where: Woodgrove Mall (6631 Island Hwy North)
Hop over to Woodgrove for eggstraordinary visits with the Easter Bunny,
egg-citing treats and giveaways, plus an Easter egg hunt!
Community Easter Egg Hunt
When: Saturday, March 30th at 10 am and 11 am
Where: Oceanside Church (2304 Jingle Pot Rd)
The Egg Hunt will happen in two sessions to allow every child an opportunity to collect some eggs.
Children can search for colourful eggs hidden throughout the church property. The event will include an Easter message and skit. It is for children aged 12 and under.
During the event, families will also be able to enjoy a free hot dog BBQ.
Easter Basket Hunt
When: Sunday, March 31, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm
Where: Westwood Lake Trail
This year, the annual hunt includes a fishing derby with many prizes. And, if you bring a food donation, your name will be entered into the draw for a very special Easter Basket.
Easter Market at Nanaimo North Town Centre
When: March 23rd, from 10 am to 6 pm
Where: Centre Court at Nanaimo North Town Centre – 4750 Rutherford Road
The Mom Market is hosting a celebration of local vendors, delicious food trucks, and festive vibes. While there, children are invited to participate in an Easter Egg Hunt and visit with the Easter Bunny. Please note that there will be an early and afternoon Easter Egg hunt. Times are to be announced on the Centre's Facebook Page.
Oceanside Easter Events
Bunny Trail at Milner Gardens
When: March 28 to March 31, from 11:00 am to 4:30 pm (with viewing until 5:00 pm)
Where: Milner Gardens – 2179 West Island Hwy, Qualicum Beach
Celebrate Easter in the Gardens at the annual Bunny Trail!
Pick up a bunny trail activity sheet at the Welcome & Interpretive Centre with clues for the children to spot the bunnies. Return the completed map to the Pool House Gift Shop for an Easter treat!
The Camellia Tea Room will be open from noon to 3:00 pm.
Garden admission: $10 Adult, $6 Youth (13-18 yrs)

Easter Bunny Bash
When: Saturday, March 30, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Where: Little Qualicum Cheese Works (401 Lowry's Rd, Parksville)
Bring the family to Little Qualicum Cheeseworks for some Easter fun. Various activities will be going on throughout the day, including an Easter Egg Hunt, Crafts & Colouring, and a Spring Photobooth. Enjoy Smitty's Smokin Pig food truck while there.
This event is free and will run from 10-4 or until supplies last. Any updates or changes will be posted to their event page on Facebook.
Easter Family Fun Day
When: March 31, from 9:30 am to noon
Where: Qualicum Beach Cafe (2690 Island Highway W)
The Qualicum Beach Cafe is hosting its annual Easter Family Fun Day. Enjoy kid's craft stations, an Easter Egg and Scavenger Hunt, and an Easter Bunny visit.
Felted Flower Eggs
When: March 23, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm
Where: Ricky's Restaurant Parksville (1480 Huntley Road, Parksville)
Create your own unique felted flower egg using a combination of wet felting and needle felting. When registering, choose the main colour for your egg. Once at the event, there will be many different colours for you to choose for egg flowers. A wooden stand will be provided to display your felted Easter egg. These needles are sharp, so extra care is needed when making the eggs; however, all ages are welcome. All supplies are included in the $22/per person cost.
Mid-Island Artisans Collective Easter Market
When: March 23, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Where: Pacific Shores Resort & Spa (1600 Stroulger Road, Nanoose Bay)
Enjoy lots of hand-crafted items by local artisans. The Mid-Island Artisan Collective is a group of talented, multi-faceted artisans, crafters and makers from mid-Vancouver Island and surrounding areas.
This market includes free parking and free admission.
Port Alberni Easter Egg Hunt
When: Saturday, March 30, from 10:00 am to noon
Where: Gyro Rec Park
Enjoy an Easter Egg-stravaganza at Gyro Rec Park. The Park will be filled with egg-citing activities such as an egg hunt, crafts, treats, games and more!

Comox Valley Events
Spring Fling and Easter Things
When: Saturday, March 23, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
Where: Courtenay and District Museum (207 Fourth Street, Courtenay)
This family event is full of fun activities. Enjoy a petting zoo, face painting (extra $5 cost), fun games, door prizes, and live children’s entertainment. The half-hour shows are as follows: 11:15 am – 11:45 am, 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm, 12:45 pm – 1:15 pm, and 1:30 pm – 2:00 pm.
The Easter Elasmosaur mascot will hand out delicious treats and pose for photos between 12:30 and 1:00 p.m.
Admission is by donation.
Easter at Filberg Park
When: Saturday, March 30, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Where: Filberg Heritage Lodge & Park – 61 Filberg Road, Comox
After grabbing an Easter Bunny Trail Map, search the 9-acre park for hidden bunnies. When you are finished, drop off your map for your chance to win a prize from their fantastic sponsors. Stop by the craft booth and make an Easter-themed craft to take home. Visit the Lego tent and outdoor games tent. Be sure to grab a photo with the Easter Bunny.
Hotdogs will be served to all visitors, and the Gift Shop will be open from 11 am – 4 pm.
Admission is by donation. All proceeds help with the restoration and maintenance of the lodge.
Easter on the Farm at Coastal Black
When: Friday, March 29 & Saturday, March 30, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Where: Coastal Black Estate Winery (2186 Endall Rd, Black Creek)
Join the adventure this Easter with Coastal Black's Easter Event.
This Easter Event is for everyone, including adults, families, and kids. It includes meeting the Easter Bunny, Face Painting, a Jumping Pillow, a Hay Bale Maze, Festive Games, and visiting the baby barnyard animals.
The ticket cost for the Easter Event is $10/person over 13 years of age, kids ages 3-12 are $8, and kids 2 and under are free.
An additional and optional ticket can be purchased for $12 to join the Easter Scavenger Hunt. The $12 cost of this goes towards the prize the kids get at the end of the Scavenger Hunt.

ADULT ONLY HUNT
Enjoy their Adults Only Easter Scavenger Hunt this year on Saturday, March 30th, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. A limited number of tickets are sold online only.

Campbell River Events
Easter on the Farm at Holly Hill
When: March 29, 30 and 31st
Where: Holly Hill Farm – 2311 Ida Rd, Campbell River
Come join in on this popular Annual Easter Event! Spend an hour at the interactive petting and real-working farm. Meet all the friendly barnyard creatures and then enjoy an Easter egg hunt.
You can enjoy baby bunnies and chicks, hay rides, and collecting real and chocolate eggs. You can also participate in the animals’ feedings, help brush the horse, and take a selfie with their alpaca.
Pre-booking is required for this event. Cost is $12 per person.
